The Harris Products Group Introduces New Interactive Website

The Harris Products Group redesigned its Web site for improved customer interaction. The new site engages their customers and makes finding information on brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and alloys to suit their needs easier. “Our new website is another investment in our effort to serve our customers worldwide. It was designed to be easy to navigate and provide essential information for our entire product line” states Dave Nangle, President of The Harris Products Group.

The site has a new feature called “Brandy” which allows their customers to go to the site and chat live with a customer service representative between the hours of 8am-5pm. In addition to the live chat capability, visitors to the site have access to technical specification sheets, product manuals and cross-reference guides. Customers can also find a complete contact information section for sales in their area. A new education center section is being planned for the new site which will give customers an opportunity to view training classes online. “Our goal was to create new Web site features that greatly enhance our customers’ online experience” states Ira Bennett, Director of Marketing, The Harris Products Group. “As our customers needs change so to will the site”.
