The Harris Products Group announces a scholarship in honor of recent retiree, Larry Schweikert

GAINESVILLE, GA / June 11, 2007 / - The Harris Products Group announced today the establishment of the Larry and Patti Schweikert Scholarship fund. 

The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis to a full time business student at Gainesville State College.  The scholarship is being established to honor Larry Schweikert, who recently retired from Harris after 32 years of service.    

“Larry was one of the most respected and dedicated individuals in the welding industry.  The scholarship will be awarded to an individual who possesses the unique combination of ability and drive similar to those displayed by Larry in his many years of service with the company,” states David J.
