ER80S-B2 is used to weld 1/2 chromium-1/2 molybdenum, 1 chromium-1/2 molybdenum and 1-1/4 chromium-1/2 molybdenum steels for elevated temperatures and corrosive service. It is also used for welding dissimilar combinations of chromium-molybdenum and carbon steels. ER80S-B2 is available for both GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding processes.
