MIG (GMAW)

ER410 GMAW (MIG)/GTAW (TIG)/SMAW (Stick) stainless steel welding wire and electrode is used to weld base metals of 403, 405, 410 and carbon steel overlay.

410 stainless steel corrosion-resistant welding alloy is used to weld alloys of similar compositions. It is also used for overlays on carbon steels to resist corrosion, erosion or abrasion. Usually requires preheat and postheat treatments. 410 is available for GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG) and SMAW welding processes.
