4130 CHROME MOLY 1/16 X 36 X 10LB PKG

4130 Chrome-Moly TIG (GTAW) Welding Alloy

0413050

4130 chrome-moly TIG (GTAW) welding alloy 3/32 x 36 in. x 10 lb. box

DETAILS

4130 is a high strength, low alloy, TIG (GTAW) chromium-molybdenum steel used to weld alloys of similar composition. Formulated to reduce weld metal hot cracking with good ductility. Particularly suited to thin, highly stressed joints. Uses S.A.E. 4130 procedure in heat treatment. Use with a pre-heat and inter-pass temperature of 400°F min. (204°C min.).

Features

  • Chrome-molybdenum TIG (GTAW) high strength, low alloy, steel welding rod
  • Welds alloys of similar composition
  • Formulated to reduce weld metal hot cracking
  • Good ductility
  • Works well on thin, highly stressed joints
  • Manufactured to Harris Products Group internal engineering standards
  • Marked with model number on each end for easy identification after use
