Model 8826 FBT (R&L) torch-to-hose type flashback arrestor with the performance and features of Model 88-5FBT along with a quick connect feature similar to Model 26-QCT torch-type quick connector. The flashback arrestor prevents the reverse flow of gases with built-in check valves. It extinguishes flashback fire with a stainless steel sintered element. The 100 micron inlet filter helps keep dust and dirt out. The OSHA compliant quick connector has a long-lasting stainless steel pin connection. The automatic cut-off feature positively shuts off the gas when disconnected. Theft can be prevented by the ability to quickly and easily take down and put away equipment.. Due to flow capacity, this model should not be used with tip sizes larger than: #5 hand cutting tips (except #4 NFF tip), #5.5 machine cutting tips, #4 acetylene heating tips, #2 alternate fuel heating tips and #2 RBP cleaning head (no limitation with RBA). This model features 9/16 in. -18 CGA B-size connections. It is for use with oxygen and fuel gas.
