DETAILS

ER90S-B3 is used to weld alloys such as 2-1/4% Chromium-1% Molybdenum steels that are found in high temperature and high pressure piping and vessels. ER90SB-3 is also used to weld carbon steels to chromium-molybdenum steels with careful control of preheat, inter-pass and post-heat to avoid cracking.
