DETAILS
Safety-Silv® 45 flux-coated high silver brazing alloy performs like a 45% silver cadmium-bearing alloy, but is cadmium-free. The flux coating on the wire eliminates the need for manual flux application. It has a lower melting temperature than Safety-Silv® 45. Its excellent fillet-forming quality produces high-strength ductile joints. Certified to NSF Standard 51 for food service equipment.
Features

- Excellent joint strength and ductility at moderately higher temperature with a melting range of approximately 145◦F (63◦C)
- Good ductility and capillary flow
- Fillet forming qualities are suitable for filling loose connections
- Recommended joint clearance of 0.003 in. - 0.006 in. (0.08 mm - 0.15 mm)
